The House of Moses
Communities change when people change.
Located in a slum along the Rangsit irrigation canal, House of Moses is right in the center of the slum community. The name Moses means drawn out of the water, which implication is to help or lift up the underprivileged from what is holding them back for a better life
House of Moses team provide mentoring and educational programs for children as well as vocational training, counseling and access to resources. We work to build relationships, create opportunities and improve quality of life for families in poverty.
House of Moses project began around 2016, when a team from True Friends community visited the area, got to know the people , gradually built up the relationship, gained trust and eventually started the work that emphasis on these three communities not far from each other, namely Saphan Siri Community, Saphanpoon tee song community and Bor narm preaw community.
During COVID-19 when it was a heavy epidemic throughout the year 2020-2021, we bought food, rice , medicine and masks to assist the people. Until today we continue to help the people in ways that will improve their lives .
